Violinist Anna Baumgaertner started violin at the age of four. Her teachers have included Yuri Beliavsky, Victor Aitay and David Taylor. Anna was a full scholarship recipient at DePaul University where she received her BA in Violin Performance and went on to perform with orchestras such as the Civic Orchestra of Chicago and the St. Luke Festival Orchestra.
Anna was co-concertmaster of the Northbrook Symphony Orchestra before moving to Florida in 2002. In Florida, Anna has played with many orchestras including the Florida Grand Opera, the Miami City Ballet, and the Symphony of the Americas and has made many professional commercial recordings.
In the past eight years Anna has started over five school strings programs in Broward county that are still flourishing. Anna is currently the Director of Instrumental Music at University School of NSU.
Eighteen year old Joana Gonzalez began her piano studies at the age of nine. Since then, music has been her passion in life. Joana has won or placed in many competitions including the New World Symphony Young Artists Concerto Competition, the American Fine Arts Festival, and the American Protege International Concerto Competition.
Aside from competing, Joana also enjoys performing. In the past year, she had the opportunity to solo for both Alhambra Orchestra and the Imperial Symphony Orchestra and to perform at Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital hall. Joana currently studies with Ciro Fodere.
